An Intimacy Director, often referred to as an ID, is a choreographer, a movement coach, an advocate for actors, and a liaison between actors and production for scenes that involve nudity/hyper-exposed work, simulated sex acts, and intimate physical contact in Live Performance.*description from IDC

Kat is a highly experienced professional, backed by a Certification from Columbia College Chicago for Intimacy Direction for Live Performance and Film. She has also received training from Theatrical Intimacy Educators, IDI, and Intimacy Directors and Choreographers.

Kat's artistry is not just about choreography; it’s transformative. She prioritizes support, consent, and storytelling principles, using her skills to deepen connections and build ensembles by establishing clear boundaries and communication.
